"I'm running for Florida House of Representatives to be a true public servant and the leader Southwest Florida deserves. I'm fighting for our water, our kids, our jobs, and our community! I'm a teacher, a mom, and a small business owner. I've been a decorated professional in the field of community development for almost 20 years, collaborating with nonprofits around the world on issues such as homelessness, addiction, education, and sustainable development. TAKING BACK TALLY
FAIR & FREE FLORIDA

PEOPLE FIRST
To have a Fair & Free Florida we have to put people first. Not just in language, but in action. For far too long, corporations and big donors have been put first in Florida. This ends when we Take Back Tally. The bold actions I’m proposing include a living $22/hr minimum wage, a summer sales tax holiday, a rental increase cap, and funding and fixing all the pollution and shit in our water.

END CORRUPTION
Ending corruption is crucial for a Fair & Free Florida. This whole state has been built on fraud and has long had a culture of tolerance for all shapes and sizes of corruption. This must end for people to thrive. To end corruption, we must put power back into the hands of the voters and away from powerful donors and the governor. This means fixing the ballot initiatives, stopping pay for play, increasing transparency in public procurement, and holding polluters accountable.

RESTORE FREEDOM
The free state of Florida has become not-so-free after all. Freedom of expression has been curtailed. Body autonomy has been denied. People are being beat and detained for simply living their lives. When we Take Back Tally we will restore freedom too! This includes rolling back HB1 to improve safety at public gathering, ending the 287g agreements, fixing ballot initiatives, and more. You deserve to be free!
What happens when we Take Back Tally? We take bold action to put the people of Florida front and center in decision-making. We stop red meat bills that waste our time and resources. We shine a light on the fraud and corruption. We pass bills that will help actual people, not corporations.
Fair and Free Florida is my plan of action. It's the policy answer to what I'm going to do when I'm your representative in Tallahassee. The policies fall into 3 main areas - 1) People First, 2) End Corruption, and 3) Restore Freedom. Click below to see the specific policies to meet those goals.
