FAIR & FREE FLORIDA

The Free State of Florida? Maybe if you're a corporation that's friends with the governor. But for the rest of us, not so much. That's why I'm taking bold action with the Fair & Free Florida plan.   

Fair& Free Florida puts YOU first. We are gonna end corruption through meaningful reforms to shine a light on misdeeds and misdealings. We are also going to restore the freedoms that have been rolled back under Florida's fascist slide.

People first policies

  • $22 min wage with annual increase based on federal COLA Residents summer sales tax waiver

  • Universal all day pre-k Child care vouchers for working families

  • Restore lottery funding as a supplement to school budget

  • School voucher accountability - End private/religious school vouchers, bring step-up scholarship administration into Florida department of education

  • Medicaid expansion

  • Full funding for Sadowski fund, limit fund diversions from affordable housing, transparency in contractor of to end pay for play

  • 5% annual rental increase cap

  • State insurance for disasters (Jolly plan)

  • No Shit Fund - subsidies for counties/municipalities to identify, rectify, and prevent shit in the water

End corruption

  • Public contract transparency - include sub-contractors

  • Return home rule - your voice

  • End pay for play state contracting - strengthen laws on public procurements processes

  • Enhance whistleblower protections

  • Improve public data integrity

  • Oversight boards appointed by the legislature not governor

  • Restrict radioactive roads

  • Mandate prosecutions for polluters - increase penalties for violators, hold legacy polluters accountable

  • Ethics ombudsman- create independent, elected board to replace governor-appointed ethics committee

Restoring freedom

  • End state surveillance - stop illegal tracking of people

  • Medical freedom and safety (Eskamani, Smith, Jones plan)

  • End mandatory 287g agreements - public accounting of state and local costs of federal operations

  • Public accountability and oversight on migrant detention facilities

  • Restore citizen ballot initiatives - end excessive fees, committee reporting requirements, illegal tenements, make simple majority of voters

  • True History- revert education choices back to districts, repeal Stop WOKE Act

  • Equality in public expression - end don’t say gay, destruction of public art in local jurisdictions

  • Safe public assembly - repeal HB1, make hitting protesters with car illegal, make police tracking of protesters illegal
